Promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle initiatives for female youth
Benefiting girls from Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Dallas Youth Council, Inc., West Dallas Community Centers, Girls Living Life on Purpose, Inc., Girl’s Inc.,and Girl’s Scouts.
There will be booths, workshops, fitness challenges, entertainment, celebrity visits, prizes, fun, food and fellowship. This day is free to the Girls and Moms therefore; all funds raised will be used to underwrite the costs of Girls’ Day. You have always been a support of healthy living in the past, and we are hoping you would be able to support our Annual Girls’ Day Event.
Why YOU should attend GIRLS DAY
Beginning at age twelve, involvement of girls [in physical activity] declines steadily until only 11% are involved in physical activity and recreation by grade 11 Girls Day goal is to increase the physical activity and self-esteem level of young women in the community.
